About

A desire to transform 1924 English colonial house into a comfortable, attractive home that would reflect my own personality and interests led me into a “lifetime” of prospecting estate sales, tag sales and yes, even garage and yard sales.

This activity nurtured a growing desire to further develop my “hobby” into ownership of the kind of retail outlet that I myself  would enjoy frequenting time and time again. Commitment to an ever-changing inventory of interesting and unusual household items is your assurance that visits to “Karen’s Attic” will always be enjoyable, rewarding and memorable. Hopefully, curiosity and an interest in bargain-shopping will entice you to visit “Karen’s Attic” soon.

Information for new customers:

  1. All sales are final once transaction is completed.
  2. All items are sold “as is”, so inspect thoroughly.
  3. Checks returned or not cashable for any reason earn a $35.00 service fee.
  4. Consignments gladly accepted under following conditions:
    1. Written contract to be signed by both consignor and “Karen’s Attic”.
    2. Item(s) held for three (3) months maximum (due to space limitations).
    3. On that last day or before, items must be picked up by consignor or items automatically become property of “Karen’s Attic”.
    4. If necessary to consummate a sale, “Karen’s Attic” reserves the right to disconnect as deemed necessary.
    5. Revenue from sale is divided 50/50 between consignee and “Karen’s Attic”.

Your questions and comments via E-mail, phone or in-person are sincerely wanted and encouraged, and will be treated truthfully and courteously by myself and any of my associates.

“Karen’s Attic” became a reality in 2004.
